Ripper tines are an essential item for a digger whether you are digging out foundations,  ripping tree stumps or just generally ripping hard ground before digging, a ripper tine makes your outfit more efficient as you can transmit the the power of your digging arm through a much smaller surface area.  Our Root Ripper tine is a prime example of an attachment that will pay for itself  in short time.  The rear saw blade can be unbolted to use the tine for general work or with the saw blade attached tree stumps can be removed far quicker than with a normal bucket.  The narrow tine allows you to get under a root easily and pull through the root as the leading edge of the tine is very narrow.   If the root is too thick the saw blade can be dragged over the root to pre-cut the root before ripping.  The best part is you don't need to get on your knees to bare the root as you would if you had to use an axe or chainsaw.  When a ripper is teamed with a thumb grab they make a fantastic combination as you can use the narrowness to pick and choose what to grab as you would  your own thumb and forefinger.
