We manufacture most of the attachments we use. The contracting work is a way for us to test our products in a real world situation. The operators are highly experienced
Flail mowing with our U430 Unimog. We have an offset flail which is great for sites as we can swing the flail to the side so the Unimog runs on already cut ground leaving a better finish.
We also have flails for our excvator and compact tractor so all bases ar covered. We can cut and mulch long grasses, weeds, briars and hedges etc.
Tree shearing and site clearances are a speciality. We are set up to clear trees, scrub etc from sites and can level and re-seed to form accessible woods, fields or large gardens. We can also thin woodlands. By taking out the weaker trees more light can reach the stronger trees and plants below creating a better environment. See the video below.
Once trees and scrub is felled, the smaller timber can be cut down to make logs or chipped with our 10inch woodchipper or larger hardwood trees can be processed with an Alaskan mill to "plank" the wood for furniture or fence posts etc.
This field was cleared or nettles and briars, the wild hedges brought under control and the land levelled and re-seeded.
This piece of wild blackthorn scrubland was felled with our tree shears. The scrub ranged from 1 inch to 6 inch blackthorn. This was put through our 9 inch chipper as can be seen in the video above. The area was cleared of stumps with our root ripper and raked over to get rid of the trash. The land was rotavated and re-seeded. The area is now a lush green woodland. What was once an unusable piece of scrub filled with rubbish is now a habitat for wild flowers.
Track grading is a super efficient way of bringing your worn tracks back into proper service. In most cases it is just a case of moving the material that is already there. Stone/chippings are now expensive so by grading tracks instead of filling potholes, huge savings can be made. Contact us for details
Specialist Machinery moving with our U430 Unimog and roll on roll off trailer. The unimog has exceptional off road capability. The major benefit of the ro ro trailer is the ability to carry either a bin or flatbed making the system very economical. Also when loading machinery the deck height is just 200mm from the ground making loading and strapping the load as safe as it can be. Loads of upto 11t on the road and 19t off road can be carried. The Unimog is HGV registered so not restricted to agricultural road laws.
